So i went to the Seattle The Fault In Our Stars Tour. I tried to get tickets for the Vancouver tour, but I waited to long and they sold out.
So the tour was pretty great. I don't know if I would drive 7 hours again for something like this, but this time it was worth it. I think the thing is, I prefer smaller gatherings. With less people. More intimate. That sort of thing. It's a pity. I'd rather have a conversation with people I want to meet, rather than sit and watch them talk and then stand in line to get a signature. It's different with musicians, because well I like their music so i go to the show. But with John, i like his writing. I want to know what goes on inside of his head. I'd rather have a conversation with him than just to watch him stand up in front of a crowd and say the same thing for a millionth time. I'd rather have a relationship with him than just fan. I guess I'm setting myself up for disappointment though.
Anyway the gathering was loads of fun. I saw Toddly00 and I talked to Kristina Horner. About Ponies. And her new web show. But Ponies.
I got like 7 of my books signed. I had to divide them among my friends. It was good. Really good. They were impressed with my french edition of Looking For Alaska. John wished us a safe drive back up to Vancouver.
I have spoken to John Green. And he has spoken to me. It was good.
We got home at 12:30.
